Hankyung National University ends 3-year 'Krache Farming Center Support Project in Cambodia'

, Hankyung National University (President Lee Won-hee) ended the 'Cambodia Krache Farming Center Support Project ' in December, which has been in progress since September 2020.

For the past three years, □Hankyung National University has built a farming center in Chet Borei District, Krache Province, Cambodia, provided equipmentand trained 30 Cambodian civil servants and 210 local farmers to build infrastructure and strengthen the expertise of local manpower through the project.

□ December 12, Phnom Penh, Cambodia, held a report on the completion of the project in the presence of about 50 key local figures, including the Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of CambodiaThrough the closing report, the main achievements and lessons learned of the project were returnedand the sustainable operation plan of the Krache Farming Center after the end of the project was discussedThe Cambodian government also presented a plaque of appreciation to the Korea Rural Community Corporation and Kim Sang-hyeon, the general manager of the project, for supporting the project.

□ Kim Sang-hyeon, the general manager of the project, said, "I hope that the Krache Farming Center will not only educate and train farmers but also serve as a guide to farmingultimately contributing to increasing the income and improving the welfare of farmers."
