The specific educational objectives for achieving the educational objectives of the Software & Service Computing major are as follows.
- First, cultivate professional competency based on expertise in system analysis and design, development and testing based on knowledge of computer hardware and software.
- Second, cultivate convergence skills to challengingly meet the software requirements in various academic fields.
- Lastly, foster communication capability and global citizenship to cope with globalization in software development.
Major introduction
The Software & Service Computing major has the following educational objectives.
First, it fosters computer engineering technicians, researchers, computer hardware and telecommunication engineering technicians, computer system experts, software developers, network and system operation experts, and information security experts necessary for industrial field practice by using computer hardware and software knowledge.
Second, the program fosters global talents with creative problem-solving skills that can apply computer science theory and principle to software development.
