Joint Major
A new way of completing a major that allows students to choose a variety of majors. Students can embrace content beyond traditional disciplines by completing courses from other majors in addition to their original major.
  • Eligibility
    2nd year and above
  • Application Period
    2 months before the start of the semester/one selection per semester
  • Written on degree certificate
    Will be Written on the major/joint major certificate with (1 degree)

Students admitted prior to 2019

Integrated Departments (Department of Animal and Environmental Sciences, Department of Civil Safety and Environmental Engineering, Department of Electrical and Electronic Control Engineering, Department of Computer Engineering)

  • Fill out the application form → Confirm your departmental advisor and major professor → Confirm the major professor of another general track major in your department → Confirm your dean → Submit to the Office of Academic Affairs

  • Fill out the application → Confirm with your departmental advisor, major advisor, and dean → Confirm with the major advisor and dean of the department in which you wish to complete your major → Submit to the Office of Academic Affairs

Major Main Major Main Major Basics & Advanced Track (75+ credits) Main Major Basics & Advanced Track (78 credits; 72 credits or more for humanities and social sciences) Complete at least 78 credits including required courses for your major (72 credits for humanities and social sciences, excluding law major), .
Joint Major A general track (9 or more credits) that differs from your department. General track in another department (15+ credits) Complete at least 9 credits of prerequisite courses in another department
Liberal Arts Complete the liberal arts graduation requirement credits for your main major.
